Why write letters the old fashioned way

I often get asked why I still write  letters, with pen and paper that I put in an envelope with a stamp on. Why can I not just send an e-mail because it is cheaper and quicker?
Some do not realize that it is more personal to send a letter instead of those boring e-mails that thousands are using these days. 
For my part, I think it's important to take care of some old fashioned things as well. Then they can just as well ask why I do not read books online? Yes because it is not the same as holding the book in front of him. Some things are simply better in the old way.


Would you like to have something other than advertising and bills in your mailbox? For me it's always exciting to open the mailbox, usually it's an interesting envelope for me and that makes me happy as a little kid. * Hehe *

My mail day

Today I had time to decorate a letter and it was pretty similar to what I made at Sunday  but used other colors and decor and thought the result was even better than the one I made at Sunday.

I'm starting to get spoiled when it comes to mail, even got a letter today this time from switzerland. So now I have 11 letters to answer, maybe it is good that Easter is here and that there are some mail-free days. But it's always nice to get a letter then and I'll write a few letters in Easter

I got a recipe by a Swedish girl on some Swedish cookies. So yesterday I found out I had to try to make them and this was the result

Sunday

Sunday is here and it's a perfect day to write some letters.
Today's first letter are for Rebecca and I would do a little extra with her letter, she often send creative letter to me and then I try to be a little creative myself.
To her I made a folder where I put the letter inside, the result was fine but had been better if I had had more of papers and decorations.

Books

I just finished reading a book called Postcard Killers written by Liza Marklund. I have read several books by Marklund and this one was not the best but it was okay. It's about one sister and brother that are travel around the world and kills couples who are on vacation.

The book I am reading now is by an author named Herbjørg Wassmo, the book is called 100 år (100 years). It's about the author's great-grandmother, grandmother and her mother and their life. Have not gotten that far yet but so far I am very pleased with the book and will enjoy myself with it at Easter:)

Easter

I've been doing sewing cross stitch for many years, can not quite remember when I started but it was certainly early:) This Easter runner I made some time ago, have not made so much lately so I would only put this out so you can see what I have made.
